After the ones held last year in Houston, a new amazing Master Class organized by the Italy America Chamber of commerce of Texas under the True Italian Taste Campaign took place in an unusual and fantastic location: the Southern Food and Beverage Museum of New Orleans. The event was attended by more than 30 operators representing leading state importers, buyers and operators, chefs, food and beverage advisory companies and other food lovers. The participants learned the significance and importance of the certification of origin of the agri-food products and discovered the characteristics of some products such as the balsamic vinegar of Modena IGP, the mortadella of Bologna IGP, the Prosciutto of Parma PDO, the cheeses Grana Padano PDO, Piave PDO and Asiago PDO and the Chianti Classico PDO olive oil – all excellent products with which chef Kevin O'Brien created a rich menu to celebrate the event, made even more important by the participation of the Consul General in Houston, Elena Sgarbi, the Trade Commissioner Dr. Carlo Bocchi and the Honorary Consul Frank Maelli.
