The Cámara de Comercio Italiana en Mexico continues to promote and spread Italian gastronomic culture in Mexico through evening events guiding participants on a discovery of Italian products and authentic flavours. The first of the two evenings took place in the restaurant D’Amico, which is part of the Ospitalità Italiana network. In a warm and cosy setting the owner, of the venue entertained his guests with a series of stories and anecdotes to guide them through the restaurant’s dishes and gave them tips on where to buy authentic products in the city. The second evening event took place in the SMEG showroom, where Chef Umberto Fregoni gave a lesson on the features and qualities of home-made pasta, during which participants helped the Chef to prepare part of the menu that was consumed to round off the evening.
