As part of the “Enhancement and promotion of authentic Italian agri-food products” project, and in collaboration withAICIG and Centennial College, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Toronto organised two Masterclasses intended for chefs, nutritionists, the media, buyers, young chefs at Centennial College and retail staff which will enabled the participants (around 60) to learn about the main Italian PDO and PGI products and to understand the importance of certification.  The Masterclass in Toronto, thanks to the participation of renowned Italian chefs who were happy to share their experience with the college students and the professionals of the sector, also focused on the appropriate use of certified products, the correct preparation of dishes and the right combinations for creating authentic Italian menus.
