The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada – West promoted the "Valorisation and promotion of authentic Italian agri-food products” project during a press dinner at “La Quercia” restaurant. During the event, media representatives (journalists, bloggers, radio and TV celebrities), were invited to support a targeted promotional campaign on Italian DOP/IGP products, organised in collaboration with a network of 15 certified “Italian Hospitality” restaurants. The journalists invited to the dinner, which was prepared using authentic Italian products, were asked to publish and share information and images of their experience through their respective media channels. The dinner closed with a presentation of the Extraordinary Italian Taste project; an explanation of the key aspects and objectives of the initiative; the distribution of promotional material, and a presentation of the recipes and products used by the chef.
