Masseria Ristorante by Pizza Nova hosted an event organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario focusing on true Italian pizza, “pizza al carbone” and “focaccia barese”, accompanied by Birra Peroni and Italian-style finger foods.

The evening was opened by a panel of experts including Domenic Primucci, president of Pizza Nova, Mark Cirillo, author of Pizza Cultura, and Stephanie Nicholson of Peroni, moderated by Colleen Cross, publisher of Canadian Pizza, focusing on the issues of product authenticity, pizza-making methods and interesting trends in pizza consumption, followed by a tasting of different types of Italian pizza.

Participants were offered a copy of Pizza Cultura, the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario publication presented in November.
