During the Third Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, the Italian American Chamber of Commerce Midwest organised the “Taste of Puglia” event, with three famous chefs, namely John Nitti, the owner of the Isola Imports company (an importer and distributor of agri-food products specialised in products from Puglia), John Colletta, the director of operations of the Gibson Restaurant Group, and Elio Bartolotta, the owner of the Elio Pizza on Fire restaurant.

Chefs guided participants as they discovered the flavours of traditional dishes from the Italian region of Puglia, each accompanied by the most famous regional wines.

The participants, which included influencers, bloggers, media and institutes, after tasting the traditional dishes, had the opportunity to attend a seminar by the chefs, who spoke of the secrets and features of traditional recipes and the genuine products from Puglia used to prepare the food they had just eaten.
